MemberDirect® SECURITY ALERTS

 

Security alerts are messages sent by email and/or through text message to help guard you against account fraud and stay informed when an event occurs on your MemberDirect® Online Banking Account.  You will be notified:

  • If your Personal Access Code (PAC) is changed.

  • If you are locked out of MemberDirect® after 3 failed attempts to answer your security question.

  • When someone logs into your MemberDirect® account.

  • If a new Interac® e-Transfer recipient is added.

  • If a new Bill Payee has been added.

 

Register to Begin Receiving Security Alerts:

  • Login to your Edam Online Banking.

  • Click the 'Messages and Alerts' tab on the blue menu bar on the left side of the screen.

  • The Messages and Alerts page will display, click the 'Get Started Today' link.

  • You will be forwarded to the Alerts page, click the 'Add Contacts' link.

  • From here, add your email contact and/or mobile phone number where you would like to receive your alerts. 

  • You will be asked to accept the Alerts Agreement before you complete your registration.

  • From here, you may also choose nicknames for your accounts.

  • From the 'Manage Alerts' tab (blue menu bar), choose which alerts you would like to receive and which contact you would like the alert message to go to.

    • You can edit your alert contacts and account nicknames by clicking the 'Manage Alerts Contacts and Mobile Nicknames' tab/link.
